Your Native Friend, I asked on social media not WHAT she was doing at the party, but WHY children aren't safe around adults. The amount of jeering and protesting I received from Black men was concerning. You'd think they knew Jay-Z personally. I was told it's just to vilify Black men, what was she doing there late at night and so on. It was so disappointing. As a victim of S A when I was much younger, I know all too well how much blame is placed on th victim. I was told I look older, my dress is too short, I'm too friendly... the list goes on. It started when I was around 5 years old. So, I am angry and upset that men think it's a color thing and not a predator thing. Thank you for highlighting this!!!!
