We all know and understand that this lie is to make right-wing people like De Santis et Al, feel better about themselves. However, a person who abuses their partner remains an abuser, even with flowers in their hands during the "honeymoon phase." Apply the same to those wishing to re-write history and blatantly lie about it, and much like the domestic abuser acts like a loving, attentive person with others around, the victim knows the truth.

There are enough Black historians around to keep the truth alive. This is no different to what they did during colonialism worldwide. Yes, we learn, but so does a dog when you are whipping it.
If history was NOT brutal, there would be no need to re-write it.
Lastly, all those who think and pretend it wasn't, let them line up and become slaves to learn a new skill.
