Thank you for the article, Allison. As someone who lived during Apartheid, I can honestly say, it was hell. What they did to Steve Bantu Biko, is remembered to this day. Unfortunately, people here still have some of that mentality. It doesn't just go away. You had little white children mistreating Black and Brown adults and it was fun for their parents to watch because if you resisted, off to jail you go. I hate that we are back here. In fact, correction, we never left "here," if Palestinians are still suffering.

Also, remember that the ANC was labelled a terrorist group by the US Government and the world, and you have to ask yourself, "What does fighting for freedom look like?" Because negotiations haven't worked till this far.

My heart is with the Palestinian people.
