Great article, Jason. I used to be a singer. I come from a family that sings, so when people ask me, what genre or style of music I like, my answer is always the same. It depends on my mood.
I listen to Andrea Bocelli or Luciano Pavarotti, then drift to Bread (I wanna make it with you). I saw them live when they visited our country. Then Michael Jackson, Prince, Aretha, Van Morrison, Prefab Sprout, Phil Collins. Then I run to Sammy Davis Jnr or Sinatra (when I miss my parents) to Snoop Dogg etc. To name but a few. I could end up with Nickelback or Randy Crawford by the time I am done.
I never know where I will travel once I start on that road. My family home is filled with music and memories. My kids grew up as I did where music was played on Saturdays and everyone danced and sang to it.
You've taken me down memory lane now. My 8-year-old granddaughter knows 60's and 70's music because of us.
Love the article. Thank you for the music (ABBA, 🙏🏾)
