Garrick, my tears are running down my cheeks as I read your article. I get it. Having recently lost my mom, I get it. Having dealt with Apartheid and still racism etc, I get it. I feel so much for all of you, but especially your dad. The pillar of strength is slowly crumbling and his pillar (your mom) can't keep him from doing so.
