Cops investigating this murder, (and it is murder) would naturally NOT find it was racially motivated or biased. This is why:
1. You would need cops/investigators who are proficient in racism and or prejudice so they would be able to start investigating by asking a simple question. Would this have happened if the murdered victim was white even with "bottles of stolen water," in their hands? If the answer is no, then racism or anti-blackness is at play and should be prosecuted as a hate crime. It's not complicated. You cannot have officers or prosecutors who are not sufficiently trained in anti-racism and bias pronouncing over this because they will not know if race was a factor if they don't see race as a factor.
2. If they admit race is a factor and anti-blackness and hate is at play in these instances, then the powers that be would have to "unwillingly" admit that racism and hate are thriving in the US. This, they can't or won't admit because they "sell" America as the "land of the free."
What they don't say is that in order to be "free" you have to be white and preferably living the "American dream."
Black Americans should NOT be supporting any establishment where they are treated as less than human and viewed with suspicion.
Thank you for the article.
