A friend of mine used to drive, using her cousin's driver's licence. Many traffic police would stop her, glance at her ID and wave her off. We all did it where I come from. Funny, she got caught one day when a Black cop pulled her over. He knew immediately it wasn't her.
Not so funny is, as you wrote, the is identifying of Black people. That's is sad. Thank you for the article
